Counseling for the Too Loud, Too Sensitive, Too Much
A space for deep feelers, big thinkers, and those who’ve been told they’re “too much.”

I’m Michelle—wife, mom, therapist, and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel more at ease in their lives.
I’ve spent years working in mental health across different settings—from the fast-paced intensity of inpatient psychiatric hospitals to the structured world of education, and now in the deeper, more personalized space of private practice. Each of those experiences shaped how I show up in the therapy room: calm, curious, nonjudgmental, and focused on what actually helps you feel better.
I work from a mix of evidence-based approaches like CBT, solution-focused strategies, and person-centered therapy, but I also keep learning and evolving. Lately, that’s looked like adding more trauma-informed and somatic techniques, DBT skills, and strengths-based work to help people connect with themselves in new, more compassionate ways.
Outside of work, I’ve been married for 18 years, and I’m raising a fierce and funny 10-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes—especially during cheer competitions. I’m also a very proud dog mom. Life is full, often messy, and always teaching me something new—and that’s what I bring into the therapy space too: real-life experience, perspective, and a whole lot of heart.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to sort things out, I’m here for it. Let’s figure it out together.

Populations I Work With
In my practice, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, and relational difficulties. I work with adults, young professionals, and college students who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking clarity, healing, and practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or relationship stress.
I enjoy working with people who are introspective, curious, and motivated—whether they’re just beginning their mental health journey or have been in therapy before. I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, and in creating a validating space where their unique ways of thinking and experiencing the world are respected and understood.
I am also a proud LGBTQ+ ally and affirming therapist. I welcome and support trans, nonbinary, and queer clients in all aspects of their identity and lived experience. Whether you're navigating gender exploration, coming out, or facing the stress of systemic or interpersonal discrimination, you deserve a space where you can be fully seen and supported.
Whether you're processing the impact of past trauma, working through present-day stressors, or seeking greater balance and fulfillment, I strive to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.
My Therapeutic Approach
I draw from a strong foundation in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches. With extensive experience using these frameworks, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of my clients—focusing on what’s most helpful and effective in the moment.
At the same time, I believe good therapy evolves alongside the people we serve. I’m committed to continual growth as a clinician and regularly integrate new techniques into my work. This includes incorporating somatic practices, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and trauma-informed methods to support emotional regulation, body awareness, and deeper healing. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives—and that meaningful change is always possible.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) offers a deeply supportive, trauma-informed space for transformative healing. Rooted in clinical training and compassionate care, KAP is ideal for those experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, or feeling stuck despite previous therapeutic efforts. This modality combines the therapeutic effects of ketamine with intentional psychotherapy before, during, and after dosing to foster insight, nervous system regulation, and emotional integration.
KAP is structured around three types of sessions to support each stage of the healing process:
Preparation Sessions are held prior to any ketamine dosing and focus on building therapeutic trust, clarifying intentions, exploring personal history, and equipping clients with grounding tools to navigate the psychedelic experience with safety and clarity.
Dosing Sessions involve the administration of ketamine in collaboration with a licensed medical provider. These sessions are conducted safely via telehealth, allowing clients to remain in the comfort of their own home while receiving real-time therapeutic support throughout the experience. The setting is structured to be quiet and introspective, often using eye shades and music to support a deep internal journey, with the therapist present virtually to ensure emotional safety and provide guidance as needed.
Integration Sessions take place after the medicine experience and focus on processing insights, exploring emotions that surfaced during the journey, and anchoring those insights into meaningful, sustainable change. Integration helps clients connect their experience to their everyday lives and supports long-term healing.

📺 Welcome to the Video Library
This space is a curated collection of videos I’ve found helpful, grounding, or thought-provoking; resources I often share with clients or return to myself. Some offer soothing support for tough moments, while others provide insight into the healing process.
You’ll find content that explores therapeutic strategies, emotional regulation tools, and evidence-based techniques, many of which are integrated into the work we do in session. I’ve also included educational videos about services I offer, like Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), to help you better understand how these approaches work and whether they might be right for you.
This page is a living, evolving resource and I’ll continue adding to it as I come across new tools, perspectives, or practices that resonate. Think of it as an ongoing extension of the therapy room.
